Kelsey Bolton CEVT

Kelsey Bolton is an AAEVT-certified Equine Veterinary Technician at Jacksonville Equine Associates, where she works alongside our veterinarians in the field and manages and designs the practice’s website. Combining her experience in veterinary medicine, agriculture, and communications, she supports our team and clients both on farm calls and online.

Kelsey studied Animal Science and Livestock Reproduction at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia, before her family became involved in commercial farming. Their operation later transitioned to dairy goats, cattle, and sustainable homesteading, providing her with extensive hands-on experience across multiple livestock species. She has also completed training in cattle artificial insemination and reproductive management, furthering her interest in ruminant health and reproduction. While much of her work centers on equine patients, her livestock background brings a valuable perspective to the practice’s care of goats, sheep, cattle, and other farm animals.

A lifelong horsewoman, Kelsey began competing at age 10 and continued through college. Today, she spends more time on the other side of the show ring, supporting her five daughters in FFA, 4-H, livestock shows, and agricultural projects. Together, the family raises and exhibits a variety of livestock throughout the year. Kelsey and her family call a historic farm in Melrose, Florida, home, where horses and agriculture remain central to daily life. Outside of work and farm responsibilities, she enjoys photography, trips to the mountains, fly fishing, and spending time outdoors with her family.
