Megan Ladson
Assistant
Raised on her family’s farm in Bryceville, Megan developed a love for animals at an early age, showing Holstein dairy cattle and Charolais beef cattle through 4-H and FFA. She graduated from Hilliard Middle-Senior High School in 2020 and earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences with an equine specialization from the University of Florida in 2024.
Today, she and her husband, Gage, call the family farm home, sharing it with four horses—Midnight, Starlett, Josie, and Max—two donkeys, Simba and Truman, and a miniature mule named Gracie. Their animal family also includes three dogs, Hazel, River, and Angel, six barn cats, and more than 60 chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, and turkeys.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys caring for her animals, traveling with her husband and family, and trail riding and camping with her friend Hali. She is especially close with her brothers, Forrest and Walker, and loves spending time with family whenever she can.
